The hotel rural Biniarroca is located in the countryside, between the villages of Sant Llu\u00eds, Es Castell and Mah\u00f3n. Sant Llu\u00eds can be reached on foot in a few minutes. There are buses from there to the beautiful beaches of Binibeca and Binisaf\u00faller, as well as to Mah\u00f3n, from where you can take a bus to the rest of the island so as not to miss the essential places to see in Menorca.<\/p>\n

Menorca’s history can be felt in its streets. Es Castell was founded by the British in the 18th century and has the privilege of being the first municipality in Spain to see the sun rise. The village of Sant Llu\u00eds was founded by the French and Mah\u00f3n has the largest natural harbour in Europe and is one of the best places to see in Minorca. The island also offers a wide range of gastronomic delicacies with internationally renowned cheeses, wines, gins and cured meats.<\/p>\n
Menorca is very close to the countryside. So much so that horses play a leading role in the local festivities. During the summer season, all the municipalities get dressed up and celebrate their popular festivals, which start in June with Sant Joan and end with the festivities at the beginning of September in Mah\u00f3n, the administrative capital.<\/p>\n

It is worth highlighting that just a few minutes away you will find the fishing village of Binibeca Vell, with its small whitewashed houses, the British fort of Marlborough, in the cove of San Esteban and various archaeological sites such as Trepuc\u00f3 and Trebal\u00fager.<\/p>\n
The beaches in the municipality of Sant Llu\u00eds include beauties such as Punta Prima, Alcaufar and Binibeca. In neighbouring Mah\u00f3n we can find Sa Mesquida or Es Grau, as well as the core of Menorca designated as a Biosphere Reserve, the Albufera des Grau, ideal for hiking routes and water sports.<\/p>\n
