At the Biniarroca rural hotel and restaurant we have been developing our accommodation and catering activity in Menorca for more than 20 years. Throughout this time, cross-cutting sustainability has been our main objective. The rural hotel is located in the countryside and is surrounded by lush gardens and extensive land with an organic vegetable garden for our own consumption as well as fruit trees. With the goal of becoming a sustainable rural hotel, at Biniarroca we have resolutely implemented our efforts in favour of environmental conservation, not only as a philosophy or theoretical framework, but by understanding sustainability as a transversal and practical aspect throughout all our activities.
Whether it is in food & beverage, in amenities such as the swimming pools or in outdoor areas such as the gardens, in the efficient use of resources such as energy and water, in efficient waste management… In short, sustainability forms an integral and very relevant part of the management model and, even more so, of the personal convictions of those of us who make up the hotel’s team. Because sustainability is our strategic commitment by all means, of course, but it also entails a constant demonstration on a daily basis of how we apply it and the positive impact we generate, as well as the negative impact we manage to mitigate.
